While Naran is the center of Tourism in Kaghan Valley, at 7,888 feet above sea level.

River Kunhar is one of the most attractive feature of Kaghan Valley which is famous for its trout. The river is also called as deadly river and is among the fastest running rivers of the world. The flow of this river is quite ideal for trout fishing and river rafting at Naran and it becomes furious while passing from Balakot. Trouts are a prime attraction for the visitors, coming to Kaghan Valley, while Naran acts as a visitor’s base.

If you are planning a trip to Kaghan valley, then your destinations must contain a visit to the Legendary Lake Saif-ul-Muluk, named after a prince Saif-ul-Muluk. Rumours says that the prince fell in love with a fairy from the mountains. At 10,500 feet, lake Saif-ul-Muluk is surrounded by supersized snow-clad mountains and crowned by the summit of Malika Parbat (Queen of the Mountains) having height of 529 meters. Rumours also says that every day at the sunrise, fairies came down from the sky to Lake Saif-ul-Muluk to do ablution. The pictorial views of the reflection of Malika Parbat in the crystal-clear water of Lake Saif-ul-Muluk are famous all around the world.
